Batman 12 cent Adventure (prelude to War Games)

Steph describing the third Boy Wonder from her own perspective. Ow my shipping heart I’m getting TimxSteph feels again.

I like her little details on Tim — his shy laughter, the smell of his hair, the way he makes her feel. It feels very intimate and real, and you can tell that she really loved him. I also like her observation on his ‘strength and gentleness’ because this contradiction matches Tim Drake perfectly. He’s incredibly driven/strong-willed yet incredibly gentle at the same time. Steph fell in love with him for all the right reasons, shame that this pairing had to be butchered so badly in the future.

It’s too early for these emotions.

he hears Bruce say nothing, hears him reach out and reach back in, as if Tim’s not a shore that should be touched wow this is the most perfect metaphor for a relationship I’ve ever read. it’s really beautiful and illustrative while conveying a lot and just. how does your brain do this.

how I read your writing is how I read my biology and chemistry textbooks hahaha. I read it, get the gist of it, then go back and read it much slower and pick apart everything so I can understand it and visualize it completely. there are so many layers to your metaphors and descriptions and it always blows my mind.

oh god and you wrote timsteph and I just want to roll around in it because that one paragraph is so sweet. :( it’s so tim when he was in love and steph was his light and ;~; and then it transitioned so well into kon and bart and all my heartache.

and then babies. all of them. brot3 forever. bart is precious and their friendship is perfect and warm and fuzzy and I love this.
